Speak to Karen about:

Liberal Arts at the University of Bristol: A programme that sits across three Schools (Humanities, Arts, and Modern Languages), Liberal Arts attracts students who like to think and learn about issues from a number of angles, engaging a truly interdisciplinary perspective. Unusual for British degrees, the Liberal Arts programme has flexibility and variety; students take a pathway (e.g., English or History or Philosophy) that is similar to a North American major,  as well as core and optional courses in the Faculty. The three-year programme leads to a BA, and the four-year programme, which involves a year abroad to one of our 30 or so partner institutions around the world, sees students graduating with an integrated Master’s: an MLibArts.

English at the University of Bristol: Learn more about how to pursue an undergraduate degree in English or a graduate programme in English Literature or Creative Writing at one of the best universities in the world for the subject.

Graduate studies/ research at the University of Bristol: Find out about how to apply for a Master's/ PhD in a Humanities discipline at the University of Bristol, with advice about writing a research proposal and asking about funding.
