Criteria
You must meet all of the following conditions:
Hold a valid passport demonstrating nationality of a country receiving ODA funding from the OECD. A full list of countries can be found on the OECD website.
Be classified by the University of Kent as an overseas student for tuition fee purposes.
Be fully self-funded.
Have applied for the taught Kent LLM at the Canterbury Campus of the University of Kent for entry in September 2025.
Have accepted an offer of a place on the taught LLM by the scholarship application deadline.
Submit a scholarship application (details below) by the scholarship application deadline (please note that we are unable to consider applicants for the award without an application).
Points to Note:
You must meet the academic conditions of entry/be accepted for entry for the award to be given.
This award cannot be held in conjunction with other awards and scholarships offered by Kent Law School, or the Division for the Study of Law, Society, and Social Justice (the award which provides the greater monetary value overall will be given only).
Graduates of the University of Kent are eligible for the award if the meet the stated conditions.
Where students are required to continue their studies beyond their original period of registration, the award will only be provided for that original period of registration.
There is alimited number of places available on this scholarship - any applications received after the cap will not be considered.
