The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Undergraduate Excellence Award is the University of Nottingham’s scholarship award, designed to support international students who have achieved academic excellence and show true passion for their chosen field of study. We're offering scholarships for high-achieving international students who live in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and neighbouring countries in Central Asia, covering £2,000 towards tuition fees in the first year of the chosen degree course.

Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

  • be domiciled in one of the eligible countries (listed below).

  • be classed as an 'overseas' student for tuition fee purposes.

  • hold an offer to begin any full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Nottingham in September 2025.
