Key dates for 2024 UK university entry

Important UCAS Deadlines

Before beginning your application it is important to familiarise yourself with key UCAS deadlines. Some universities (Cambridge and Oxford) and courses (medicine, veterinary medicine and dentistry) have much earlier deadlines and it is important you are fully aware of those which impact your application.

All UCAS deadlines for courses in the UK.

October 16th - All courses at Cambridge and Oxford and most medicine, veterinary medicine and dentistry courses at all other institutions
January 31st - 'Equal Consideration' deadline for many UK universities
June 30th - All other undergraduate courses for international students

Selected UK universities do allow international applications after certain deadlines though. Speak to one of our consultants to find out more. 2024 Intake UK University Deadlines

All of the below deadlines are for students wishing to study an undergraduate degree in the UK from September 2024.

October 16th, 2023

Deadline for Cambridge and Oxford and most Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Dentistry courses.

January 31st, 2024

Deadline for the majority of undergraduate courses at high-ranked universities for equal consideration.

June 30, 2024

Deadline for the majority of undergraduate courses for international students.
Applications received after June 30 are entered into UCAS Clearing.

July 5, 2024

UCAS Clearing opens.

Postgraduate Degree Applications

Postgraduate degrees in the UK are open on a rolling basis so there is no set deadline for all postgraduate degree applications.
