£2,000 International Student Scholarships

Starting your degree in September 2022 or January 2023? You could qualify for one of Oxford Brookes' new £2,000 international student scholarships.

Oxford Brookes University knows that moving to a new country can be a challenge, and they believe that early preparation is an important factor in student success. In order to encourage their students to be well prepared for their new life in the UK, they are offering a £2,000 scholarship to support students who accept their places by a relevant deadline, see below for more information.

In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must:

1.  Hold a conditional or unconditional offer from Oxford Brookes University.
2. Accept your offer and pay your deposit by the relevant deadline:
   • Accept your offer and pay your deposit by 15 April 2022 if you are applying for September 2022
   • The deadline for January 2023 is still to be confirmed.
3. Enrol in September 2022 or January 2023 as a new full-time undergraduate or postgraduate international fee-paying student.

In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:  

September 2022 Applicants

1. 1. Applicants must:
      1. Have an offer from the University to begin a degree programme in September 2022 and have accepted this offer by 15 April 2022.
      2. Have made payment of any tuition fee deposit by 15 April 2022 where applicable. Please read the terms of your offer carefully if a deposit is required.
   2. Applicants must be new, full-time, international fee-paying students commencing full 3 or 4-year undergraduate degrees (including Integrated Foundation Courses) or full 1 or 2-year postgraduate degrees. Unfortunately, this scholarship does not apply to students under home/EU fees.
   3. The scholarship will only be available to students commencing a degree in September 2022.
   4. The scholarship scheme will not apply to:

1. 1. 1. Pre-sessional programmes in English Language
      2. 1-year stand-alone Foundation Programmes including:
         • International Foundation Diploma
         • Foundation in Art and Design
      3. Pre-Master’s programmes (excluding the Two Year Master's Programme which will be included in the scheme)
      4. Modular associate programmes or exchange programmes
      5. Diploma courses
      6. Certificate courses

Students are not able to claim this scholarship in conjunction with any other funding offered by Oxford Brookes and the scholarship will not be available to students who are sponsored. Additionally, the scholarship will be awarded as a discount applied to the student’s second semester of tuition fees. 

January 2023 Applicants

In order to qualify for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:  

1. 1. Applicants must:
      1. Have an offer from the University to begin a degree programme in January 2023 and have accepted this offer by TBC.
      2. Have made payment of any tuition fee deposit by TBC where applicable. Please read the terms of your offer carefully if a deposit is required.
   2. Applicants must be new, full-time, international fee-paying students commencing full 3 or 4-year undergraduate degrees (including Integrated Foundation Courses) or full 1 or 2-year postgraduate degrees. Unfortunately, this scholarship does not apply to students under home/EU fees. 
   3. The scholarship will only be available to students commencing a degree in January 2023. 
   4. The scholarship scheme will not apply to:
