University of Birmingham Offer Holders Meet and Greet

We are delighted to announce that Katy Friend, University of Birmingham International Officer for the Americas, will be visiting Canada in May, and is keen to meet with Birmingham offer holders to help students to learn more about Birmingham before deciding whether to join the University.

The event will be held at Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre on Saturday, May 28th from 3 pm ET.

Offer holders can attend a meet and greet event in Toronto to hear from Birmingham staff and alumni. If you wish to attend the Toronto event, please register using this link.

At this event, Katy will be joined by Paul McConnell (Senior Lecturer in Law) and Samantha Schnobel (Program Leader of LLB for Graduates), as well as alumni from the university.

Katy, Paul and Samantha work closely with Birmingham’s Canadian student population, which currently totals nearly 150 Canadian students! They can help with questions relating to all aspects of international student life, as well as some more course-specific queries. We very much hope to meet with you online or in-person soon!

The University of Birmingham understands that some students may prefer to meet virtually, and are able to offer meetings on Zoom if preferred.
